I cleaned a coin.
Then I compared 5. 3 of them do not look the same.
They all look like your regular 25 cent.
This is not the one I cleaned.

It looks like by "Or Die" part of a cent.
2000-Old-Man-Of-The-Mountain.

You won't believe what I think is on the other one.
I have to spend more time on them.

Nice find. Any way we can get a few better pictures? One from the front also would help. Can't wait to hear what the pros say!

First of all you NEVER clean a coin unless it benefits the coin. Did you at least properly clean it? It looks like the rim of another coin was pressed into this coin leaving the impression of it. But even if this was an error, which it was not, it would lower the value because of the cleaning.

That is what I feel it is also. Reeds from another coin that looks intentionally transferred. PSD.

This is not the one I Cleaned.
The little reed looking 3 rows were already there. On 1 it looks like it was going to be "E" just before Pluribus.
I am thinking somehow a dollar liberty coin.
I will try to put up a better picture.
Ghe one that starts at the star and ends at "D"ie

It might also be a gear out of machine with the cogs on it. But it wasn't struck that way. Add later. PSD

Any marks that are not part of the design that are incuse on the coin is usually a sure sign of damage. (coin contact during circulation)

I believe that these marks that look like a one cent were already on the coin.

You're entitled to your opinion, but I dont see anything remotely close to resembling any sort of cent. I can assure you, this is damage.
