Might be a contact mark or a die crack. I can't tell for sure from the image.

hello coop , ...the outer ear turns in and flows inward connecting to the inner lobe.....maybe a crack like you mention? ....thanks for your time

That image shows it better. Die crack. First time I've seen one there. But looking again, it looks like it may have been detached and more to that location. Is it gray where the metal takes a turn? If so, then it is damaged. If it has the copper intact then it might be a die crack. Tough call from the image provided.

i don't see any hit mark, no change of color....that just flows right to the other side of the lobe and attaches flows as one there....it's crazy? like one piece all the way around.....thanks so much coop you have been great !!

 thanks dustin .... so it is a die crack ? ..it's in such a weird place, someone should send a copy to one of the sites that keep track I don't know how to do that, cause I've never seen another......

The first image shows what I think is damage. You can see where the metal is pushed in that image. Well that is what I see. PSD

hey coop.....but if I pushed them back together they wouldn't line up, they are to long....this pours to a very thin point like lead almost, hard to explain. it does not look hit or moved by something.....but I'm no expert....thank you again coop.

Kind of like stretched metal? That is what a surface does when it takes a hit. Either way die crack or damage they don't add a premium for it. Just something interesting to look at.
