picked up a dime at a friends house and was wondering if there was a DDO variety for this type of dime struck for this year(1999 D)?

That is another form of machine damage. The dies slide a bit and you can see the metal striation lines on the top of the date. An example of this is taking a knife and sliding it on the top of the surface of butter. When you look closely, you can see the striation lines in the butter. Here is another example:

When you look at the bottoms of the date, you can see these faint striation lines. Just part of MD. The metal rubbing on the devices after the strike.

I have 563 Different list RPMs. (That is not counting extras)
I have 412 different doubled dies. (that is counting major and minor not listed ones together)
