1974 D Kennedy Doubling - Coin Community Forum

magusxxx Valued Member United States 306 Posts	Posted 03/05/2008 12:06 pm The Red Book says there's a 1974 D Dbl Die Obverse. When going through the halves I bought at the bank yesterday I found some doubling on the reverse. Is this quite common since it's not listed? (I didn't find any doubling on the front.) Happens a lot of the larger coinage. Finding one without if is sometimes a challenge. Cherry Pickers describes this DDO as "Strong doubling is evident on IN GOD WE TRUST, LIBERTY, and the date. You can also compare it to CONECA's CONENCA 1-0-1. If you type in "1974 D Kennedy DDO" in your web browser you'll come up with lots of websites with images of it. Report this Post to the Staff
