When I added the 50 subject uncut sheet I recently purchased on;
https://goccf.com/t/264696I didn't realize that the BEP was releasing uncut sheets from circulation-production range (96000000 and under), and didn't notice my sheet wasn't the higher numbers one would expect until I received a message from uspapermoney.info saying as much (below)

The really interesting thing about the 50-subject uncut sheets is that they *don't* have high serial numbers any more. They've got serials under 96000000, in the circulation-production range. Looks like the BEP is just pulling sheets straight from the regular circulation printings for uncut sheet sales. That's the way it always worked up until 1953, but it's unexpected seeing it back again!
So the only way to identify the quantity of uncut sheets sold is to look for serial numbers found in circulation vs. serial numbers seen on sheets, and try to close the gap. Right now the highest K..E serial number anyone's reported on a circulating note is K9380..E, while the lowest serial seen on a sheet is K9480..E, so the gap is only a million serials wide, which means it's tough to find notes that'll shrink it even further. (The highest serial seen on a sheet is K9566..E, so I expect that the sheets run all the way up to the end of the block at 96000000, but it'd be nice to track down some higher sheets to confirm that, too.)
I thought I would share this in a new thread as now it is possible (and probable) that you will see new (fake) errors listed on
ebay from those cutting the sheet..
Now we have to keep a lookout for cutting errors from the K-E Block above the reported K9380----E circulation note reported..
I would hope both PCGS & PMG would have this information available to their graders so no fake cutting error gets certified as genuine..
