Altered 1932-D Washington Quarter?

I'm no expert on altered 1932-D washington 25c...hoping someone in here can help....the closeups lead me to believe this D may have been added...what do you think?
If so, it was done a long time ago, as, before I cleaned the area with acetone(I HAD to to remove black gunk, and, study the area..I did not clean the rest of the coin on either side). IF it is authentic, it almost looks like an RPM....D/S....none listed for the date, so, VERY unlikely.

Here are 2 authentic D mintmarks, from F. Michael Fizzari's article on these., followed by 2 altered marks. #1 & #4 are REAL......#2 & #3 are fakes
