Recent acquisition. Raw 1855-O Seated Half -- looks VF+ to me and very original. There is some darker toning on the reverse, but in hand, it's not nearly as noticeable. The toning has a blue sheen to it when viewed under lighting, almost like a blued barrel of a gun , with some golds towards the outer edges. A bit darker than photos indicate.

VF-35.

It has a very old cleaning, but it is market-acceptable.

What is between the F & D on the reverse? Other than that I like it as a solid VF.

VF-25, possible old cleaning, especially evident in the reverse fields.
