Obverse was struck thru Grease. The reverse appears to be a die chip or gas bubble above the I. Also the lines on the letters are probably coin counter damage.

The thing on the reverse is a gas bubble.

Coin counter damage is always parallel to the rim. These are lines that came in the planchet. They are common.
