This coin is in so good condition, I think it will fetch a highhhhhhh amount... as this was way too big for my budget, thought you guys might be interested to bid... If you do, I hope you will win.. :D

I bet now that the seller has posted more pictures, the price realised will not go too much higher than where it is now. The big scratch on the cheek will have an effect. I saw this coin when there was only 1 bid & 2 pictures & decided it would go for quite a high price, but I think it's close to the max now. Maybe another $50 - $100.

I would not grade it as UNC, aUNC yes. Of course I could be wrong, it's still a very nice coin.

No bidding from me though.

That's about the only scratch I can see, right on the cheek. Looks like some red ink has bled onto the coin too. Other than that it looks pretty good, but not for me.

I sold one a few months ago (about fine or slightly above) and already this one is $100 more.
Maybe we should have a sweepstake on the price it will fetch. I am guessing $378.

What's your guess

Prize for the sweepstake is a 2004 "bighead" 20¢ but you have to pay postage at cost + 20¢ face value (IOU is acceptable).

If I win does that mean everyone else sends me a bighead?

No... didn't think so.

And, if the price exceeds your estimate that first estimate is your entry to win the coin. But feel free to put another price in anyway just for fun. Up to $305 bid now.

Definitely an optimist. Bighead offer is fair dinkum but I don't think an incused millenium is in the offing.

'The Eternal Optimist' well, I guess that's wayyyy better than 'The Eternal Pessimist' Plus the book 'Secrets' say that if I think hard enough about the incused, it will arrive to meeeee.... Dunno how that works though..

It may be a bit late to add some rules; But why don't we make it a rule that to have a guess you have to offer a coin as a prize. One guess per person and at least $20 space to be left between all guesses. That way the winner will get heaps of "happy" mail. My guess is $400 and I'll add a 1968 2c coin to the prize kitty.

Guesses so far:
$320 - Nancy 1966 London 5¢ (short spine).
$356 - Humpy
$378 - Jeff 2004 Big Head 20c
$400 - Proko 1968 2c
$455 - LearJet
$500 - Justa
$554 - B-J-W
$620 - Gnome

Probably a bit late to throw in a new rule with several entries already and auction with only hours to go but I can't see why anyone can't offer another coin if they want (optional).
