I personally would say this is the best forum ever ever because......of its 'welcoming' ambience and the 'family' ambience.
What are your favorite collectos forum and why.
The collectors forum is there are wayyyyy too many people and too much confusion.

Thanks!

We can get this forum way on the top!!!! Its paced up in less than 12 months. By mid next year we'll have 1000+ members.

I have to go along with Crystalk on this one. This is the best forum and I think that its because of the members and especially the amount of work put in to it by Susan and Bobby with the help of their moderators.

This board is clearly my favorite. When you have a limited amount of time you find out real fast which one you like you the best. I also like CT as well as the WINS list but I never seem to have time for them. The CU board occasionally has interesting topics but it moves way to fast for me.
Rest in Peace

Without getting too philosophical about it, I think that some forums (fora?) are destined to devolve into anarchy while others continue to grow and mature. It is absolutely dependent upon the forum administrators and moderators: those that are established with little or no continued input nor enforced guidance (terms of service) from their creators are doomed to degenerate into yelling, screaming, name-calling, and rabble-rousing exchanges. Others, with Coin Community being a perfect example will continue to grow and mature, evolving and improving as they age simply due to the attention and discipline applied by their owners.

Rest in Peace

Respect for others, the desire to share knowledge and the "feeling" of community along with a dose of Love and Technical know how make this a great forum, and of course it's the members that uphold these principles and values that make the bond complete.....Mike

This place is the best! I lurk at a few other places but rarely if ever post there, I really only have time to keep up with one forum, and this is the one I chose. I was bummed when the old CoinWorld site folded, but that only lasted as long as it took for Catman and C64 to drag me over here!

I read most of the coin forums on the net and this is indeed a very good one. It is well run and has good members. I enjoy reading the posts here. Just remember, as you talk about some of the other forums, that some members here do use more than one forum and have probably seen your exact same post on pretty much every one of them. ;)

Hey, you know all forums are unique :)

It's up to a matter of preference.

My numismatics articles and collection: http://www.gxseries.com/numis/numis_index.htm
Regularly updated at least once a month.

I find myself that investor forums are sharkinfested with
people posting under different names answering their own questions
and sometimes being interested in disinformation to make money
So I now have my own private mail network and we do not post our
forecasts any more for free for fundmanagers to read

On coinforums there is first the survivalist with cabin and gun type
which I quit reading ( they go mostly to bullion silver )

Then there is the general forums dominated by some seller or so called specialist which I quit reading because the specialist will
give some silly comment and you have to bow and say yessir

I came here after Stujoe's forum got down and like it here
allthough as you know I am half investor and half collector
and do not have a dominant half yet

I will admit that I post on other forums for the thrill of the chase, and the agony of listening to some of the members there.
But!
I always seem to come back here for the pure joy of posting with friends and associates who are an ever ending of sourse knowledge and experience.
All in all, this forum is mighty hard to beat!

I joined Coin Community because in my opinion, it is about the best coin forum on the Net. Of all the choices out there, I choose to spend my time here.

Bobby and Susan, the moderators of Coin Community, are very active and are always on the look out for improvement opportunities. I know that with this kind of dedication, Coin Community will be a great place to learn, socialize, and share.

As good as Coin Community is, I believe things are just barely getting started!

Since I only participate on this one, I cannot say for sure that it is "THE" best, but certianly one of the best. Stujoe runs one of the best also, in my humble opinion.

Anyways, according to the count today, this forum has 18,851 posts. We should see 20,000 by years end. That is absolutely amazing. That "PROVES" what a good forum this truly is.

Well, after you get past Catman and myself this is INDEED a great place to hang out with some really outstanding individuals. I guess every hog has a litter and every litter has its runts! Catman, old buddy, I guess thats us? We could have been the PICKS of the litter but NOOOOOO! Had to be the runts!
