I thought this was proven to be a chip.

A chip would be raised. damage to the die would be raised. A die crack would be raised. The lid looks normal sized, but has that mark in the center. So I'm not decided yet on this one.

Added:
I was able to dig a little deeper on this question about if this was a doubled die or a di chip.

So note the comments made by the attributers. Once calls it a die chip, other calls it a doubled die. So being the type to look closer, I made an image of a normal coin and the eye in question:

So looking at them side by side, we see that the area is enlarged on the eyelid. But how did it happen? Could this be a hubbing issue? I would have to say no as the area in question does not match any of the known hub area. So it looks like to me that coppercoins called it correct as a die chip. Seeing them side by side helped me to make this determination.
