2002-D DDR Discovery piece. I only know of 3 more examples. But there should be a lot more of them. No one have spotted the and reported it to me yet.

Nice finds you all. Because of coops help in trying to attribute them, I actually have 3 new DDR discoveries this year. My favorite being the 2016 Cumberland GAP quarter WDDR-005. Granted it's a small DDR - but wow it was exciting.

Wow, I doubt anyone can beat mountainman2's amazing find! As for me, I have been lucky enough to find several fairly rare varieties including the 1944 D/S #1 and the 1946 Inverted S. For errors it would probably be the two 1940-S rotated dies: one is 129 degrees(less than 30 known)and the other 152 degrees (unknown quantity). I agree with what many people have said here: "Keep looking, they are definitely out there!"

With only 3 known examples why such a low value?

Seems that with the die wear, there should be many more. Just not many are found so far.
What's-The-Rarest-Die-Variety-You-Guys-Ever-Found?
There should be at least 250,000 of them out there.
