Trying to figure out how this could have happened. Haven't received the coin yet but doesn't look like a reflection from the scan or photo.

Bottom of the neck or the Caribou shows Denticles misplaced as well as on the Obv. Denticles are doubled up.

Look at the odd reflection of the edge reeding and the shine on the top of the Queen's head.
Could be a lighting issue.
Keep us posted with new pics whe you have it in hand.
"Dipping" is not considered cleaning...

those images are taken by someone. that understands how to use light angles. they are very talented in coin photography. they are also using a piece of glass. over the top of the coin. nice photos very well done.

I think the piece of glass over the coin is causing these weird reflections. Just like how the rim is seen at the top of the coin

Possibly another coin was stuck to the coin in picture (coke or syrup) ?

Nope, nothing special but I did learn a lesson in what a few of you mentioned about photos, light, reflection etc. Still a nice coin but not what I was hoping for...lol
