I went to the Post 01/22/2014, Trying to determine if this is a type C reverse, to compare my coin.
According to the post the (1) Arrows sharper, and they are on my coin. (2) Feathers sharper and they are. (3) Stronger Tail Feathers they are (4) Leaf touches tail feather it does. The right most leaf LL dollar has splits as does the tail feathers. I need your help to determine if this is Type C. I am not sure if you will be able to see in the pictures. Are there any other characteristics to look for?
Thank
Anthony

What you have is a rdv-006, there are only two reverse types on the 1972-d, rdv-006, and rdv-008. Reverse 8 is the modified proof reverse, and reverse 6 is the reverse introduced in 1967.

They type 'C' was on the 1964-D which then was the new reverse for the 1965 dies. It only applied to that year.

If you would like to see one of these. look on the reverse of a 1965. That is what they look like.
(except on the 1964-d, they were silver)
