I was looking through my Walkers again a couple days ago and ran across what looks like a couple errors on both coins.

These are from the same year and the same mint and I did post these last year in the coin grading section so these should be familiar to some of you.

Now the possible errors I see is a possible Cud to the left of the E in liberty on one coin on the Obverse and the other Walker has what looks like a wire strike on the reverse. From what I can see the strike starts on the upper portion of the wing then you have a break then it continues after the break and goes onto the last S in States. And it looks like after looking at the first walker again just now I found another apparent Cud just beneath and to the right of the sun that isn't there on my other Walking Liberty half dollar.

A Cud happens when an edge splits off the die leaving a void in the strike. I don't see that anywhere on your coin.

When this happens the coin will show a raised area on one side of the coin and a void on the other side:

Some call die chips as Cuds but that is incorrect term to use for them.

I've only found die chips in the devices of some coins but never in the field of the Obverse let alone two on the same coin.
