Do These Barber Halves Make The Grade?

I am more in the 20-25 range as both look a little rough. Biedercoins Pillar of the Community United States 1602 Posts	Posted 09/08/2016 12:47 pm I agree with the cleaning on the second coin, plus it has an overall funky color to it; might be white balance on the pic or it might not. Yes, the 1911 is overgraded. On the 1897, if it was cleaned, it circulated some after that. Plus I think the grading by PCGS in pretty accurate. IMHO Report this Post to the Staff

The 1911-S has been cleaned but it is market acceptable for the age and wear grade of the coin. I agree with PCGS's grade as given.
