Yum Oreos. Got Milk!!

Just a guess, but could it be an old refrigerator magnet? Does it look like something could've been glued to back at one time?

Could we see an image of the other side? Also, an edge image would be useful as there are some edge/thickness variations.
Rest in Peace

Sweet pick-up! Looks like a patriarchal cross above that obverse legend. My first guess would be Byzantine.

bjherbison raises a good point here...a white seam might indicate a cast fake...

Just spotted one online. Apparently this type is prone to brittleness. Make sure that if you send it in for grading, they don't use too tight a slab...don't let this happen (below). Painful to look at. Just tragic.

You guys all got me laughing. That's priceless bobL.
So I was up late sorting some ancients at the table when it caught my eye. For a sec I thought it was a coin. Then I realized what it was. I was laughing so hard at myself I thought I better post for a laugh.

With advance apologies to all, I just can't seem to stop:

- That coin is some serious eye candy!

- I'm not sure why I can even read this thread...I thought I had my browser set to "no cookies."

- I got outbid on this one. Oh well, that's the way the cookie crumbles.

- As far as the i.d. goes, have you consulted Mitchiner?:

Alright, I'll stop. I've milked - and cookied - this for all it's worth.
