It looks perfectly real to me. Significant wear but a decent specimen. What makes you think it may not be?

These are a heavily counterfeited coin and some of the fakes are pretty convincing.
There seems to be a lot of wear on the King's portrait and yet the rims are perfect and the devices look too good to match up with the amount of wear on the king.
I now treat all the raw ones as dodgy unless they are certified by NGC or PCGS.
If you are thinking of buying this tread carefully and if you already own it get an expert to take a look at it for you

trout1105: Your thoughts are exactly mine. The rim and writing look good, but the king's head looks like it could have been cast that way. I already bought this one for what I thought was a good price - £50.

There are no faults in the rim such as I have seen on other cast fakes, which is why I hoped/thought it could be genuine.

I would ask the person that you bought this off IF they are prepared to give you a refund if you were to send it away to be graded and it turned out to be a fake.
If the answer is NO then try and get your money back now
By the time I had gotten my results back from PCGS for those two fakes imaged above it was too late for Me to do anything about being ripped off through ebay
