I removed this to get a better picture, was it ok to remove from the original mint packaging? I noticed on the reverse some type of color or marks, can you tell me if they are from the packaging? What grade do you give this?

At 65+ would an ANACS slab or something cheap make sense?

64RD, 65 at best with the obverse field marks.

Appears to have a light, verdigris haze. VC will instantly remove that, I've done it many times.

I am newer to collecting. I ve heard of this VC product. Would an amateur like myself be able to use it? Can a coin still be graded once applied?

Marks not only in fields but on shoulder and bust as well. I'd say 63RD.
