I am new to coin collecting and bullion. I found this coin roll hunting. Wanted to know what it is and maybe a guess at the value. Thanks for your time! I've found things similar that were capped die strikes.

Your diagnosis is correct. Might be worth $10 - $15.

A Capped Die happens when a coin sticks to the die and becomes cup shaped as it continues to strike other planchets. These are sometimes referred to as "bottle caps". What you have is a struck through die cap error. It is one of the coins that was minted while the other coin was still stuck to the die.
