Anyone know of any retailers where I can buy these nowadays? They used to have them at the local Walmart and Barnes ands Noble but the past 6 months or so I have not seen them at either place.......

There should be something on their website. Whenever I get the magazine I always get the little pre-paid slips. Worst case scenario I could just send you a slip.
..and you know it's funny you mention all of that about availability and being able to find it. They wonder why their magazines are getting shorter and shorter in size and that their submissions for "Coin Finds" are so empty.

I see the magazine at my local B&N and Books-a-Million. I'm not sure why your B&N wouldn't still carry it. Maybe you can ask them about it. You could also subscribe to the magazine via the company's website, which I'm sure would be cheaper in the long run.

It would probably be a lot cheaper if you would just subscribe to it. They would then come directly to you and your wouldn't have to worry about missing an issue because you couldn't find it.

I do subscribe but want to buy several copies as my son's article is in the Coin Finds column for November...it just came yesterday. It's no major find but is a big deal to him as he is only 9 years old.
Drew: The coin finds submissions normally take 4-5 months to get in so technically they could prob expand that to a second page without running out of articles to print. The internet isn't helping either, I'm sure.........look what it did to the local newspapers.

Write to the magazine and ask them to sell you extra copies for the reason you stated.
They have a contact us link on their web page.

I pick up Coins Magazine at Walden books . But to tell you the truth ,I'm not too happy with the magazine lately . At one time they used to include mintages of all coins listed . and their coin finds column is getting shorter . Not worth $5 bucks IMHO . Yes I can subscribe , but I only pick one up every 5 or 6 months .

Quote: my son's article is in the Coin Finds column for November. Congratulations! Back in the day I used to have several coin magazine subscriptions. In the more recent (post-web) history I would only get a coin magazine in the airport before a flight. I no longer have that need now that planes have wi-fi. The last coin magazine I got was at least five years ago. Different times now.
