Hi everyone, I just got this rather rough but unusual Chinese cash coin. However, I really cannot ID it. Any help would be appreciated!

Looks most like Qing Dynasty to me, possibly Emporer Ren Zong 1796-1820. I don't recognize that rev though.

Well, TC is the expert on this stuff. It looks to me like the four characters on the obv are Jia Qing tong bao though.

All I knew is that it was Korean, not Chinese (that is probably why you couldn't ID it. )

Obverse says "Sang Pyong Tong Bo." I'm assuming the reverse needs to be rotated clockwise 90 degrees. The closest thing I come up with is "Pyong" at top (left in the OP's picture, and the numerical character for 11. My reference dates this to 1883 if the size is between 20-23mm.

TypeCoin971793- Wow that's quite surprising. I would have guessed it to be much older. Thanks for the help!
