I found this as well in my recent roll hunts. Tell me if this is legitimate. I found one like it on ebay. I wanted to know value if any, thanks again for you time!
I'm six months into this hobby and there's a lot to learn

On ebay the item is listed as 1985 P Roosevelt dime, (MISALIGNED DIE ) MINT ERROR COIN, AE 560

Looks like a normal circulated dime. What is different with it?

Note how it widens on the 'LI' that is from a partly filled die issue. Because the die was filled, that area of the letter couldn't form. Not a big thing, just a small Grease Fill. When they get so they block a very larger percentage of the devices, they are pretty much common. a die event. Same on 'IN & WE'.

Thanks guys when you are newbie and you see a coin that looks a little different and google leads you to an ebay ad that's asking for 60 bucks. I can't help but be curious. I'm glad I found this place.

It's a slight mis aligned die, not enough to keep, they have to effect the devices to be worth anything. Keep looking.
