Hi, I am an expatriate Canadian living in Germany. I buy silver and gold coins hoping to resell them at a profit or to keep as my investment fund. Here in germany we are getting only 0.05% on our savings accounts.

On a side note my Grandmother was a Scottish war bride. I am allays reading accounts of Canadian war brides and one store always stuck with me. A young British war bride is coming into the Halifax harbour. She looks up and sees a sign that says "Drink Canada Dry".

She though to herself, "I know Canadians like to drink but this is insane!".

hmmm a Canadian in Deutschland huh?

If you are able, could you look into a German coin/note book?
(if you are able to find something, I would happily pay for the cost & shipping)

I can't find anything here in this side of the ocean - but understand that there are many books offered for the German market.

I don't a have a large collection, but I do enjoy picking up the odd coin/bank note...
I have some imperial German stuff, some Wiemar period stuff, some WWII period stuff, as well as West/unified Germany - and the odd worthless East German coin...

My most recent purchases were some Wiemar period iron coins - pretty neat stuff!

If you will humor it, feel free to email me with what you find!
