No expert on these but they're a Bullion Coin that struggle to maintain the issue price of A$40.Someone on here will know more than me as regards their current value.

As far as I know this F12 Privy was not authorized by the Perth Mint although the german MDM said that it was minted by TPM. They have made 5000 sets.

I can remember a Fab15 or F15 set of coins and I bought the Kangaroo at sunset F15 coin.
I have no knowledge about a F12 set however.

They are not authorized by the Perth Mint but were altered with the F12 after by MDM in Germany as part of the Fabulous 12 collection at the time. They have been graded by NGC as authentic, I have two, and are part of the registered set of one ounce Koala's set.

There is a variety of F15 Kangaroo at Sunset.
The one that came with F15 set (at least, distributed by RCM) is BU finish, and another - in RAM packaging - is Proof.
Since design of the coin introduces 2 surfaces, both of them - BU and Proof are very nice, the finish on them looks like "changing places".

Regarding Koala, all I remember, when in 2012 I searched for 2008 Koala (non Privy) - the supply was very limited, and cost me about CAD / AUD 90.

Here is the first year of the Kangaroo F12/F15 series. It was over in 2014 and yes there were BU and Proof versions of each.
