Hello, There is currently a 1955 MS-66 dime for sale on ebay...there are not many recent sales to reference price against...I am wondering if anyone here would help provide an estimate of current fair market value in the event I Place an offer on it...sorry I don't know how to upload the ebay listing here using my IPad, but the coin is showing as listed currently if anyone would like to go to ebay to take a look at it...thank you as always...

The forum is not a shopping service. Any pricing advice you get here is worth exactly what you pay for it. Do you track auction results for MS66 dimes? Are you collecting MS66 coins without an ICCS pop report? If you don't have previous sale results and MS 65 trends at $65 you have to know how many grade at 65 and 66 or higher to arrive at an educated estimate.

Check ha.com for past auction results.

@twoods you will not be at all happy when you get this coin in hand, there is yellow discoloration which the photos are tilted to hide..that plus a no returns policy would have me running.
Feel free to call me Will.

Thank you, I went back and looked, the tilting is a bit suspect, I will also check ha.com for past sales...

When you get above MS-65 grades, you really have to invest some time in researching strike, lustre, grade and past sales...
At the highest grades, you are buying the coins... not the holders...

Their 'no return' policy is meaningless. ebay will let you return for just about any reason...

I have data of a '55 MS-66 example sold on ebay in Apr of 2010. I may (or not) have missed others that have crossed ebay since.
