I have been noticing how many nasty looking coins I have been seeing. I open a lot of rolls at work and I cannot believe how many green, corroded and discoloured pennies! Really they look hideous! Am I the only one noticing this?

How do you receive these rolls that you open? What kind of work do you do?
Rest in Peace

I'm a cashier. The penny rolls I open are mostly shrink wrapped from the bank.

The new copper coated zinc coins are not going to last 50-100+ years like the mostly copper coins "of old".

You probably got rolls made from a large batch of someone's metal detecting finds.
