is it any indication that you should evaluate a coin (in this instance a State Quarter) when it SERIOUSLY will not fit in a whitman folder.

Maybe its just my rookie lack of special technique but usually I have to push the coins in pretty hard, even try to stretch the hole a little bit.

but this one I placed on top and kind tried and could just tell that there was no way it was going in, have not measure but it appears to be apparently larger than the whitman slot.

thanks y'all, sorry if dumb question

Have you tried a different quarter to see if it fits? Could be the hole itself is too small -- Whitman may not have the same quality standards as the mint.

When a coin does not fit in a hole, it is almost always the hole that is too small, not a coin that is larger than normal.

They do fit tight when you put them in the first time, to keep them from falling out later. If you remove a coin from these albums a few times, then they fall out of the album easily. But that is my guess as to why there is an issue. They should fit tightly.
Rest in Peace

This is one good reason why most seasoned members use albums and not folders .

yes !! I already hate them, I will definitely be moving on from them after the folder project starting (for the kids) and my dads project

and I figured it out, the doing is offsett and the rim is larger I forgot what this is called.
