Around midnight tonight the Mint will be sending notice out about a Special subscription that will apparently sell out within hours of release. This will be advance notice for upper tiers.

I have both 5 ounce series. I know I will be getting this one as well.

I'm skipping these ones too. I don't want to be a wet blanket, but how can anyone be excited for new releases when they issue hundreds of commemoratives a year?

These would be the ones I'd buy if I was still was collecting. I like all the circulation design 5 oz coins but have only the farewell to the penny 5 oz. There simply are too many for me to keep interest in buying them.

There is a 1 Kilo coin that features a Gold Plated Canada Coat of Arms. Looks good. Prefer that over the 1967 Big Coin Series. At $2329.95 is cheaper than the $3360 in total for the 6 coin series. Plus lower mintage of 500.

The photo of the 5oz silver dollar is fantastic. However it's not for me - I'm not even tempted to buy an oversized commemorative replica because it dwarfs the real McCoy, in size, price and significance. The 1967 SD is no means scarce and typically sells for not much over bullion. So I don't know how to best describe it in words but the 5 oz size almost strikes me as being disloyal to the original, to minimize it. That might be because the 1967 series has always been one of the highlights of my collection considering I was old enough to remember the Centennial celebrations. I also suspect the 5 oz appeals mainly to a younger set of NCLT collectors who wouldn't face the possibility of being good-naturally teased by friends and family about loss of vision, due to aging, yes indeed all kinds of things happen as body parts get older. But 2017 hasn't yet begun, quite certain there will be more options yet. Different things for different people, RCM is getting quite proficient at that aspect of their product line. A commemorate 1967-2017 set of the original size, yes count me in.

Each to own but I really like this set. Will definitely purchase it. Only consideration is same as that mentioned by others: what else to expect for 2017? Likely to be very nice coins this coming year yet limited budget to purchase them!

I was able to get the goose dollar as a single and I added the three promo coins to my order. I was surprised at how quick this coin and the subscription went.

Where was this listing? Do regular Platinum MC members not see this stuff?
