Heres a contender

The head lines up with the reverse when you flip it over (I rotated the coin for the best light)
Theres no lettering around the edge, though it is tiny feint.
What is also odd is theres no ribbing around the side, though again ts really feint and only visible in places. The side motto is clear.Pics taken with flash and without to try to show up the detail, but I reckon you guys will know right off the bat.

I visited here a few times and since ive now been examining every blooming coin with a x8 lens lol

I'm half inclined to believe that's actually a genuine one.

Hi there :D And cheers for answering.

Well I hope its the positive half

Having a bit of a crumbs moment here. Though I do think myself that I couldnt be as lucky as that, right off the bat and it must be fake.
Its just the multiple things to go amiss when making them.

Yes, a miss hit, OR the side motto goes askew, OR double stamped. It seems a huge coincidence for multiple things to go wrong as the odds must be astronomical.
hope its real, I honestly do, but not for any financial reasons. More it suits my personality

Some more pics for you .

Might I ask if there is a definitive method of proving one way or the other ?. Or any others on the forum familiar with this.

Cheers
Andy

I think it's not right. There's no milling on the edge - is the weight correct ?

Measurements thus far I have 12g dead, and 2.5 thickness.
I cant get a diameter as my micrometer doesn't go that high.
Theres no deep milling to the edge, its all like you see, just a hint of it.And the beading around the inner centre is visible but you can see its pushed in..
