I was very happy to win this sale of Gepids coins at a very good price in a well know Austrian salehouse . I was most interested in he 2 coins above. I will post better pice once I have received the coins . albert

Thanks all ; I hope the coins will arrive end of this week , but there is a new legislation for antiquities in Austria andlast time I had to wait 5 weeks .albert

You are right , if I am at home , I allways wait for the last moment of the sale to make my bid . I also prefer the sales of the big houses , it is often cheaper than ebay , quality is better and you have a better description . I ve paid this lot about €200 (US$220) by Numismatik Naumann . albert

I know next to nothing of these types but compared to many other late antiquity issues they appear to me to be XF

I love the one on the top left... especially the portrait and retrograde S in the legend!

Excellent pick-ups! I was eyeballing a siliqua of the Vandals on ebay (in lesser quality than these) and it went well over $150 by itself.
