Newb here. I can't tell for sure but think this is around 1960. Is this considered an error coin? Is there terminology for the type of error? Wondering how to describe it if I list it for sale. Thanks.

Most likely it is a 1980 nickel because it has an obverse "P" mintmark.

It is a very slight off-center strike worth a couple of dollars over face value at the most.

to CCf, Can we see a pic of the reverse, It might be a Mis-aligned die rather than an off center

Yep this is actually a misaligned die. Meaning it is worth 3-4 bucks, the other coin just spent some time underground
