Newb here. I have inherited about 30 coins, some in coin flips and some in jars. I am wondering whether or not it is worthwhile to grade them first, or go directly to ebay. That may be a pretty open ended question, but I'm not sure where to start.
Here are pictures of a few samples. Sorry if they are not in focus, I need to get better with my pictures.
The coins you posted here do not appear to be particularly high grade and are not rare, so I would recommend against sending any of them in for grading before you sell since you are unlikely to recoup that investment. Some here say that grading only starts to make financial sense for resale value once the value of the coin exceeds several hundred dollars.
The Kennedy half, walker half, and Peace dollar I am seeing all seem genuine to me. Am I missing something or are the image file names mixed up in the CCF database?
But please DO NOT grade these! It's definitely not worthwhile, as these coins are almost always sold raw and thus has a sufficient market without grading.
Thanks for the inputs! Yea there must have been something weird going on with the pictures mixing up with my other pictures, but looks ok now on my end.
