Also found this coin going thru rolls recently.

Please check out the SECOND column of the left in these photo's- extra metal- is this just another variety (blob etc) or possibly a new DDR in additional to the one's already known.

If it's not dirt it's probably a die chip. It's not clear from the pics posted.

It's a die chip.

Remember that there can never be "extra metal" on a struck coin. Anything you see in relief that's not supposed to be is the direct result of something missing from the die that struck the coin. Pieces chip off of the dies quite often in the striking process. The void left behind shows as raised areas on the coins the die strikes. Nothing more than that - they are very common.
