I picked this up yesterday. It is really beautiful in hand. The pictures almost do it justice. I did some reading about FS and I suspect that this may fall short, but I really want to hear your opinions. Please share a numerical grade and and if it should be FS.
Thanks to you all.

I'd say 64, not FS (lowest appears incomplete).

Some distracting obverse hits . Not much in the way of mint luster . Not FS , but close . MS-64 .

I agree with coinfrog

MS64 and the lowest step is not complete. I see only two sections of the lowest step.

from what I understand, the lack of a bottom "6th" step would only demote it to 5FS.
(I can see this being considered not FS due to the marks in the top 5 steps. )

I had to enlarge the picture for my old eyes.
Your right I was looking at the sixth step.

As for the other five steps, I think it is very close, but not sure if it would get FS.

I did not say before, this a very good date coin. Hard to find in MS

Thanks GR58
I wish you all could see the coin in hand. My LG phone has a decent camera, but in hand, this is a beauty.

I would say MS64 and FS with 5 steps I have seen many graded by PCGS with bag marks on the 4-5 steps and still get FS (see my example below) a PCGS MS-66 FS

My first post! Please be gentle

I really appreciate one person who is on my side. (Not taking it personal)
That was exactly my question.
Thanks.

I only see one step complete in OPs coin. the top one. second step is missing a potion just shy of midway. third and fourth step missing chunks in the middle and at 75% of the way across. fifth step missing a spot at 75% and a spot about 80% of the way across. though this could be from camera resolution or lighting angle. I might be being overly critical but I would call this a 5-2-2-5 and the two sections with 2 steps swap from steps 1&5 complete to steps 1&2 complete.
