Just wondering about folks opinions for the details grade and value of a 1900-O Barber quarter that has some pretty bad scratches on both sides. I am hovering around VF details damage/improperly cleaned.

My first Barber quarter with this much detail, although I collect the dimes normally. Picked it up for $7.

Thanks for the input!

I really wonder what the person was thinking when he put those crosses in the quarter.

Intentional damage like that is a killer. Natual circulation problems are easier to accept. I could see this piece as a $10 filler at best. Wholesale would be somewhere around melt.
