I have 4 bills from the bak that are as new as they can get with sequential serial numbers. Is there any reason to keep them from a collectible perspective?

Thanks

Depends on if you want to start a paper collection or not. I would keep them if I got them b/c I like that kind of stuff. Collect what you enjoy! If you put them in an albulm and see them there will it make you say "I sure do think they are nice" or will you say "I should just spend these". Thats how I do it but I keep a lot of notes some people wouldnt b/c I think paper money is neat! Or you could try and sell people always looking for uncirculated notes from each FRB district.

I always keep my sequential numbers stack together when I get them in change just because they started life together and figured I was lucky enough to get them together in change so I will keep them together. They probably aren't worth anything right now but in 100 years or so they may be just because they were kept together all those years. I have stacks of 2 sequential numbers all the way up to 9 bills with sequential numbers in my stack of keeper bills in my safe, so if you find them interesting then keep them, some do and some don't, I just always thought it was neat because they were given to me in change and I didn't pull them out of a brick myself or anything

I collect mainly foreign but I keep anything that interests me when it comes to US notes and coins. Everyone has a different perspective and a unique view on what makes their collection truly exclusive and special to them.

I've kept a few such series of bills, but have little hope of them rising rapidly in value. If you want for curiousity's sake, they are good to keep. If you wait long enough, they will eventually command a premium of some sort.
