I just received this from my bank while cashing a check. Does anyone know what, if anything it may be worth? The top left and bottom right corners have very sligt wrinkles but other than that and the obvious folds from when it was printed it doesn't appear to have ever been folded or seen much use. Very very cool!
misprints are some of the best kind of errors
however I don't know anything about the value

That's really neat!
Did they hand it to you like that or did you get it and then realize that something was amiss and folded it back yourself?

Hmm...I'm a little confused by that bill, which might be easily clarified by someone who knows. Since a whole sheet of bills gets the FRB/ser # printed at once, wouldn't that particular bill need to be on the lower left corner of the whole sheet (of 16)? Perhaps that's the case here, which would make it even scarcer. Not knowing how currency is printed, I find it interesting that two sides of that bill are cut to the final size before being printed with the serial #.

Arthrene, that's interesting because that bill seems to confirm there are larger margins on the sheet when the serial # is printed, which are later cut off, as seen below. Of course, perhaps there's just a large margin on this side of the sheet, and it's not needed on all sides on a printing press? Dunno....I'm baffled.

Woww! Thanks guys. I guess i'll do a little more research to see what the average selling price may be for something like this. Who knows maybe eventually test the market and throw it on ebay.....

I would have graded PMG then test the waters. have it printed on the holder Error will make worth a lot more than raw? I know it will double in price with coinage like VAM or Double Die do.

I think that twenty is worth at least a couple of hundred bucks.

I agree with amac44 (did I just say that), I would get it graded before I sold it because it being certified will only make its value go up and I think its value now makes it well worth the cost of submission/grading fees
