I got a job as a volunteer piano teacher for small kids starting mid-October. I picked these up yesterday at the expo, I'm thinking to give these to them as a reward for being good. I think they will like them

If when I was a kid I knew my piano teacher would give me a $1 coin... I would've probably played and finished my grade 10 exams.... alas I can barely play chopsticks...

Great idea Slur!

great idea! I think that'll be great motivation for them and maybe you'll create a new YN or maybe more. also, nice seeing you at the expo and best of luck with your mid terms.

Those were quite heavy coins. I used to have the whole set I assembled from PL sets. Wish I still had it!

I hope I can pass on the enthusiasm to them - for me that's one sign of a good teacher.

It's nice to meet you too dollarman, and thanks for the wishes.

Working for free is enough. Keep the coins for yourself. You might need the money in the future.
