Hello, I came across some silver crowns recently, and this one seems to be in very nice condition indeed. I've attached some photos.

I would really appreciate it if somebody would be able to roughly grade its condition for me.

Many thanks, Toby.

I'm far from being able to grade with accuracy and consistency but I would have said VF for the obverse.

The reverse is showing very little wear. Look at the reign over the horse's neck it is still intact. Fingers in both hands are quite clear. More surprising, the leather strap crossing George's torso is in very good shape.

How can a coin like this have a much stronger reverse?

Hope experts will chime in...

If the rim is a little higher on the REV it would protect the detail more

Thank you for the answers, very helpful. The others are similar years, 1889, 1887, 1900 and so on, 10 in total. This is by far the best one, the others are probably in just Good to Fine condition.
