I'm 32 and I've been collecting for many years now, and now I'm going to start a collection for my brand new baby girl. I love collecting Mexican Libertads, and have recently started collecting Spanish Colonial coins. One of my collecting goals is to get a silver and gold coin from each colonial mint. The focus of my collection is coins of a certain date, and I do fancy the Spanish Colonials for my date too. Some of the mints surely don't come up up very often. Mexico is by far the most common. Bolivia on occasion. Lima only occasionally in low denominations. I think I've only seen Santiago come up once in the last three years, and the 8R went for around $1500 despite its issues.
