Any opinions on this coin? This came from relatives barn house found during clean up and not sure if this is just an old coin or might have some numismatic value. thanks again.

cool find. this is a common date morgan but in pretty good condition considering how it was stored. the coin would probably grade AU53. the value would be around $40 retail.

since it is a common date, the grade doesn't matter a whole lot until you get into the higher mint state (uncirculated) examples

I agree .. common date coin.

You can find coins like this in coin shops bucket dollars in $35 range.

A dealer would offer you less than that.


This is not a CC dollar ...but if it was
