It's been a while since I've posted, but I really think that this is the DDO-001. Minor circulation wear, but it's not enough to flatten the devices out. The die scratches that are described on doubleddie.com are there at the third feather, but I couldn't quite get a picture of them. Thanks for all opinions!

Looks like it was struck on a worn die or circulation wear.

I took a second look at this one. I think it is a DDO, but not 1936 5c WDDO-001. It is close, but not from that die. But it is a keeper for now.

Note the shape of the 'L'. That was the deal breaker for me. But there are some other areas that look hub doubled.

Would it be worth e-mailing John Wexler about? I'd love to have another addition on the website.

I would try him by email first with your best images. See if he wanted to see it in person.

That's what I did with the 2016 25c KY WDDO-002 that I discovered. I'll shoot him an email.

I just checked on PCGS coinfacts and they had a listing for a FS-101 with several images and one 102. The doubling look similar and somewhat different. So I'm not sure if it was a typing error on the one coin, or a legit die number. I don't have a book for the nickels on CPG. Maybe someone else has a copy?
