I was wondering will the US mint ever go back to minting regular quarters and how long will these park coins be minted, has anybody heard?

Honestly I don't think they will. They seem to think that everyone likes these new quarters but I find them dull and uninspiring.

The current quarter series is set to end in 2021. HOWEVER, the authorizing legslation allows the Secretary of the Treasury to decide in I believe 2018 whether or not to do a second round of the national parks. If he does then the program will end in 2032. Either way, once the program ends the the quarter is supposed to then have a design that will stay and not change every year. That design will be Washington crossing the Delaware (It's in the legislation.).
