Here are photos of anotherr coin passed on to me from my grandfather. As you can see, it is a 1921 Morgan dollar. This coin has darkened, yet I love how it makes all the details pop. What would be the grading and value on it? Thanks for all comments. As a newbie, I have much to learn when it comes to grading.

Have you ever seen a MS65 Morgan? Those details pop. Your 1921 shows a lot of use on hair and on eagle. It has darkened probably from being touched thousands of times by human hands. Coins don't get worn like that from sitting in a drawer. If you grandfather gave it to you then it has sentimental value. You could buy a MS65 condition 1921 Morgan for about $150 and you would see details and the difference between your coin and a mint coin.

just a note on taking pics. take the picture from straight above the coin not at an angle. its a nice circulated example with no issues and original surfaces. $20-22 depending on silver price
