Got this on ebay and took a chance on it for $140. Coin looks mid ms, toning appears natural, very good strike, decent luster. Have a full 30 day return policy on it if I don't like it. I think this is a good candidate for submitting to NGC. Thoughts?

I have to say ... the picture ....make it look like a better grade coin.

It would be nice to see the coin in hand.

unless your buying it for the toning, I would want it to be at least a
MS 65

Hard to grade from these angle photos. The last photo of obverse shows lots of marks on cheek AU 58 to MS 63. You will know more once you get it in hand. I like the toning.
Rest in Peace

For the price it would be MS61/MS62 and I have my reservations that it's that high. Keep in mind MS64 is a $1,500 coin and MS65 is nearing $20,000. There's a ton of these in AU58/MS60 out there. I'll wait to see better images before I present an opinion.

This is a sleeper of a date....this coin is very scarce 64 and up. I'm hoping for a 63, I'd love a 64, I'd pass out if it was a 65. I will post better pics when I get it. Like I said full refund if pics were doctored to deceive.

The coin looks nice in pics, but could go AU to mid MS. Hard to tell from these pictures.

Reverse looks like a good strong strike for a New Orleans coin. Hope it looks just as good or better in hand.

I think that it is a 64 or 65. I really hope I am right. Because that would make you a happy man 19,842 dollars richer. That is without grading fees and the million year (it feels like it) turnaround time at PCGS. If you choose to use them Best of luck to you!!

It's a gamble with these photos. Like the others have said, could go AU-58 or as high as MS-63.
