I have a 1917 penny and Lincoln has a hook on the end of his nose and does not appear to be PMD to me. Coin may have other errors as well. Has anyone seen anything like this before? Would this make the coin worth anything?

Incuse marks on a coin are almost always post strike damage. There are other things that can alter coins, but most of the time it is circulation damage just like your coin is. These incuse marks can turn a coin into a cull very quickly.

looks to me that if that was so that the place would be deeper or not as deep as the flat surface and it seems to be pretty level.

Looks like an old toned-in hit near the tip of the nose.
