1917 Lincoln Hook Nose - Coin Community Forum

Steven8061 New Member United States 6 Posts	Posted 10/18/2016 11:58 pm I have a 1917 penny and Lincoln has a hook on the end of his nose and does not appear to be PMD to me. Coin may have other errors as well. Has anyone seen anything like this before? Would this make the coin worth anything? Report this Post to the Staff

There are other things that can alter coins, but most of the time it is circulation damage just like your coin is. These incuse marks can turn a coin into a cull very quickly.
