Beautiful! It's called a Cud, resulting from a broken die. It's definitely worth more than face, but I'll let someone who knows more estimate its worth.

Very nice! But the full Cud on the obv (This comes on a couple different dates) and with a large Retained Cud on the rev as well. Definitely worth a good premium, but I can't say how much it would be, just don't have enough experience in that field.
