Looks like something is going on with 'UNITED' in the reverse also.
Looks a bit like a Retained Cud or something?
I see the weakness for the Cud on reverse at 12:00-1:30.

Coop that picture you posted is the exact error on mine. And it has a visible copper edge, it appears to be somewhat recent

Here' one for sale.

Check sold prices. Grade/condition affects the price.

Mines got another Cud on the United too, would that increase the price vs the one you posted, Buddy? The condition is good, minor scratches on front, back is pretty flawless.

I would think so but I honestly couldn't say for sure.

It seems like the prices for error coins are all over the place sometimes.

If you plan on selling it, I would suggest you watch the SOLD prices on ebay to see what you could realistically expect if you were to sell it online. You'd get less selling it to a dealer, but then you don't have any fees with that transaction....so...

It's worth $75 to $100. Obverse Cud and retained reverse Cud. Nice example but many examples exist of this particular Cud combo. I have several and have sold many more over the years.

Zimmy, I appreciate the price value/estimates! I didn't think this was the only of its kind by any means, just couldn't find any on ebay with the United Cud. If I can get $75 I would be quite pleased, seeing as how I got it as change. Thank you all for the help!

I think yours is a match to CU-25c-ND(P)-04.

http://cuds-on-coins.com/washington...s-no-date-2/

Note: it is also a Retained Cud "Cross reference number: WQC-ND-21 & 22 RET. The reverse is listed as RCD-25c-ND(D)-01"

You don't see Cuds like this on Canadian coins very often. Very nice!
