I found this a little bit ago. Look behind Washington's ear, there is a couple "hairs"? I don't know what to call it. Thx for any information on this.

I am thinking it is not hairs. It is probably post mint damage.

I can't see it being post mint because it's raised not dented.

It could be WDDO-001

Check die markers. Your coin only shows two hairs behind the ear. The coin on Wexler's site shows 3. Check if the small 3rd hair is on your coin, if not it could be a new/discovery DDO. Congratulations either way. Nice coin :)

Thank you MS70Error5! This makes all those headaches from looking through a loop worth it! I'm checking now for another hair. Wooohooo!

Im pretty sure there is only 2 hairs. I ordered some stronger magnifiers but for now all I have is a 10× loop so I might not be able to see if there is another one.

Looks like my father in-law that's eighty two. He has all kinds of hair growing out of his ear

Keep in mind that it is very possible to be a DDO. The target area is the one that a class 9 doubled die could create. A slight tilt of the hub and then a snap into place causes the interior devices to be affected. The bar cents is a classic case of this. This is often over looked by searchers. So I believe that John Wexler has it correct. DDO
